Cade McNown – The Champion

Cade McNown is one of the few National Football League (NFL) players who are known for his defending skills on the field. Cade was not popular only after entering NFL. His football skills were noticed right when he started playing football during his college days. Through the skills that Cade was able to acquire during his stint for his college side, he was able to make a mark in the NFL tournaments. He was a hard worker, very committed towards the success of his team and always kept his team ahead of his personal achievements. This is perhaps the reason why he was sought after many football leagues in America.

Cade McNown was so good at his football skills that he was immediately a part of the national league as soon as he graduated out of high school. Cade was already playing many games in the entire season as a freshman and when it came down to comparing people through statistics, he was one among the top quarterbacks in the entire league. Cade always wanted to succeed and it was quite evident from the fact when he wanted to score goals even as a junior. This desire for scoring goals resulted in his team winning 10 games in the whole league season. It also included the Cotton Bowl Classic victory in 1998, which Cade’s team won against Texas A&M.

Cade was a part of the UCLA football team right out of school and was associated with the team for quite some time. It was during this dream run of Cade that UCLA was able to become champions of Pac-10. In addition, the UCLA team was also the fifth best team in the entire country. After these slew of victories, McNown was named the most outstanding offensive player in 1998’s Cotton Bowl Classic. These awards and appreciations gave lot of recognition to Cade McNown and he was able to break many records while being part of the UCLA team. Most of the records broken by Cade were those which belonged to Tom Ramsey.

When Cade McNown entered final years of his high school, he was getting more attention as a football player. During this period, the UCLA football team was able to break numerous records. When UCLA bate its cross-town rival USC, Cade was the quarterback in the team who had a major role to play. Courtesy this achievement, Cade got an induction into the Hall of Fame of UCLA Athletics.
